Onboarding path

How a sector switch is paced

Employment consulting in Germany works best when candidates changing industries follow a clear sequence — not a scramble of CV edits and last-minute interview tips. This path mirrors our flagship Industry Change Onboarding engagement.

Week 0

Intake

You share your current role, the industries under consideration, and non-negotiables such as commute radius from Hamburg or another city, German language comfort, and salary floor. We confirm whether a full engagement or a narrower consultation fits.

Week 1

Constraints and evidence

We inventory decisions you have already made at work — budgets owned, people supervised, processes fixed — so later applications cite proof instead of soft skills lists.

Weeks 2–3

Role map and narrative

Target titles are narrowed to those your evidence can support. We rewrite how you explain the industry change so German hiring managers hear motive and method, not restlessness.

Weeks 4–5

Application and interview dry-run

Documents and spoken answers are tested against questions employers ask when a CV crosses sectors. Gaps that still look thin get honest attention before you apply widely.

Week 6+

First ninety days

Once an offer lands — or if you already started — we set checkpoints for clarifying expectations with your manager, learning unspoken norms, and avoiding habits from your previous industry that do not transfer.
